The Bible says, “Train up a child in the way he should go: and when he is old, he will not depart from it.”(Proverb 22:6) It is also our school Philosophy. We aim to nurture children good characters of being honest and to love one another, to show their talents and uniqueness, to attain balanced development, to guide their way when young. We believe that they can overcome their problems with a positive attitude, and contribute the society with their talents.

Our kindergarten starts welcoming 2026-2027 K1 application on Saturday, 1st November, 2025. Children who were born between
January and December, 2023 are eligible for the application.

  1. Please note that all applications made after the 1st round interview will be arranged afterward.
  2. Applications for the academic year 2025-2026 (start school in September) are welcome. Online registration is still available or call us at 26063933 for details. Due to the school relocation to Wang Chi Court in Kowloon Bay for the 2026-2027 academic year, our school will only accept K3 transfer students.

A. Methods of application 1：Hand in application form by hand/mail (For new students or transfer students)

Please send us the documents listed below with a recent photo of the applicant:

  1. A copy of the child’s birth certificate (If the child was not born in Hong Kong, please also send us the Verification of Right of Abode in Hong Kong).
  2. Two rectangular self-addressed stamped envelopes. Put a $2.20 postage stamp on each envelope (If it is not a local mail, please put on sufficient postage). Also write your mailing address and applicant’s Chinese name on the front of the envelope.
  3. Application fee: HKD$40. Applicants can pay by cheque, cash or bank in to the Hang Seng Bank :“Truth Baptist Church Kindergarten” (a/c: 259-025872-668). Leave applicant’s name and date of birth on the original deposit slip. The application fee is non-refundable.
  4. Applicants might submit their application by mail, or come to our school in person during office hours.

Instruction for Online Application: (Online application is only eligible for K1 application)

    1. To facilitate the application uploading process, please have all the following documents prepared “before starting”the application.
    2. Recent passport photo of the child
    3. (Please upload the photo in JPG, GIF, or PNG format, and the size of the document should not exceed 2MB)
    4. Birth certificate of the child
    5. (If the child was not born in Hong Kong, please also send us the Verification of Right of Abode in Hong Kong).

Remarks:

  1. If any of the above information is missing, the online application will not be completed and the application will not be considered
  2. Documents uploaded only in PDF, JPG, GIF, or PNG format, and the size of documents should not exceed 2MB

  4. Please ensure that the uploaded information is clear and visible for facilitating the application.
  5. A “confirmation email” will be sent out to you after successful submission.

B. Application for the “Registration Certificate for Kindergarten Admission” (K1-K3) or “Kindergarten Admission Pass”：

  1. Education Bureau (EDB) is implementing the Kindergarten Education Scheme. Under the Scheme, EDB will use the “Registration Certificate for Kindergarten Admission” as the document for registration in the 2023/24 school year.
  2. Parents are required to submit an application for the “Registration Certificate for Kindergarten Admission” (hereafter
    referred as “RC”) or “Kindergarten Admission Pass” (hereafter referred as “AP”) as it is a document For registration details of application, please browse EDB’s website in due course.

C. Interview Arrangement：

  1. The kindergarten will arrange interview for all applicants.
  2. Interviews will be informed by post or email.
  3. Group and/or individual interviews will be arranged.
  4. Parents should accompany their child for the interview.

Admission Criteria

Interviews Arrangement for non-Chinese speaking children

According to the Education Bureau, interpretation or translation services will be provided to non-Chinese speaking children

during interviews. In order to facilitating the process of the interviews, relatives and friends, who can understand Chinese,

D. Announcement of Admission Results：

We will inform parents of the K1 admission results by post or email before end of December 2025.

E. Registration Arrangements：

  1. Successful applicants: Parents should complete the registration procedures for their child in the “Centralised Registration Dates” (8 to 10 January,2026) by submitting the original of the “RC” or “AP” to the kindergarten and paying the registration fee.
  2. Applicants on the waiting list: We will inform parents of results by post or email. Parents should complete the registration procedures for their child according to the specified date set by the school. Parents are required to submit the original of the “RC” or “AP” to the kindergarten and pay the registration fee.
  3. Please be reminded that if parents cannot submit the “RC” or “AP” during registration, the kindergarten may not be able to complete registration for their child. Hence, parents are required to submit application for the Registration document to EDB within the specified period.
  4. The registration fees for a half-day class is HK$970 and for the whole-day class is HKD$1,570. Should parents decide to change school after registration, please notify the kindergarten in writing. The kindergarten will return the “RC” or “AP” but the registration fee will not be refunded. Upon obtaining the “RC” or “AP”, the kindergarten will no longer keep the school place for the child.
